Support for newer JDK versions (#1107)

To answer my own question, it looks like JDK 11 is the latest that works. JDK 12 and 13 both produce this error. Thanks for the tip.

Let's move it to 8.2.0 as it works with JDK11, which is the latest LTS either way.

We should also bump minimum JDK version to 11.
