File Sharing on MUC (#50)

I have configured Tigase and enjoying it since than.I just want to know about rich content sharing (files). Does MUC component of tigase allow to share files in conference chat.

Maybe with additional file repository (client uploads file to repo and send link to muc room)?

But currently there is no protocol for it.

I do not think there is anything in the MUC spec for any media sharing, except HTTP link inside the message to MUC. A Jingle extension might be a good direction to look at, but I do not think Jingle allows for media transfer to a group of users.

There was XEP-0135 http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0135.html which was related to MUC and file sharing also in XEP-0065 http://xmpp.org/extensions/xep-0065.html there is example of opening SOCKS5 connection for MUC (see section 7. Use with Multi-User Chat).
