I'm assuming that we are reusing the current implementation of PubSub node, so presences will be stored in the database. Most likely, this will need to be optimized later on as storing presence in the database is not optimal and may result in poor performance of the service. This is OPTIONAL feature and should be added after core functionality is implemented. |

It's partially implemented (accepts presence, but doesn't broadcast it) - let's move it to the next version. |

In some cases, it is desired to have information about the channel participant presence XEP-0403: Mediated Information eXchange (MIX): Presence Support.. In those cases, it would be good to have support for that.
