This looks like a very simple task, however, it may require storage of additional data for "channel" configuration, as the channel is more than just a "node" - it is a set of nodes with separate service jid for which we have never stored any data before and most likely will require changes to the database and database layer

Mostly implemented within #issue #1 as it was a kind of requirement for MIX core to have a configuration.
