User registration and password recovery handling (#3)
Wojciech Kapcia (Tigase) opened 1 decade ago
  • registration form allowing creating new user with associated address and protocol (address validation should be used);

  • address management form allowing adding new address and selecting protocol - should re-use ad-hoc with the same purpose (#1750);

  • password reset form requiring user to provide JID and either use default address associated with the account or require user to provide desired protocol and address (need to match any of the verified);

  • validation and reset endpoints;

Form should use some form of mechanism guarding against bots (e.g. captcha).

    What is the status of this, has this been completed already?

  • Andrzej Wójcik (Tigase) commented 1 decade ago

    No, it was not completed. It is waiting for #1752 and #1751 to create unified look for all pages returned by Tigase HTTP API.

  • Artur Hefczyc commented 1 decade ago

    Ok, the same as for #1751. Let's not wait. Please work on this and once we have something we will be working on improving it.

  • Andrzej Wójcik (Tigase) commented 1 decade ago

    Still waiting on #1748, without this API I cannot proceed.

  • Andrzej Wójcik (Tigase) commented 1 decade ago

    Changed due date as API for registration and password recovery is not ready.
