Daniel, I am not sure if you are writing a new guide or updating some old, existing one. If this is a new guide, than I think it is better to use our web client instead of Psi. The web client is now part of the Tigase installation, so users can easily use it after installing Tigase server. Even if it is not included in some smaller packages they can still use our public web client available at the http://tigase.im which allows to connect to any Tigase installation, even on a localhost. |

Some of the documentation referenced this guide, but it was never made, I had started to write one today, but I can adapt it for the web client, I can't seem to get tigase.im to work on my local installation, but I will spend some time researching this option (as there seems to be little documentation available for tigase.im). |

One option is to have the web client running on your local machine form the binary server installation connecting to the server you are running and another option is to use the client instance running on the http://tigase.im website. Both should work and ideally we should have a guide on how to connect from a web client to a Tigase server in both cases.
The best person to contact with questions about web client is Andrzej, who is the author. He can help you to get the client running in both cases. |

I do not think this is a good idea anymore. I think such a guide should be created but based on our web client on tigase.im instead. |
