This is more of a suggestion - the premise of tigase-console.log is to server as most basic way of debugging/troubleshooting and it shouldn't grow in size, but should we have a mechanism that would allow rotating this file as well?

I am against implementing rotation for this log. We have logs which are rotated. This one by design is not rotated and should contain most essential information about the server from the server process start to termination.
However, we should make sure, that this log does not grow too much and this should be our focus.

OK, that's what we are doing right now - avoid including in tigase-console.log unnecessary information. Do you imply anything more when saying we should make sure, that this log does not grow too much? If not than this may be closed.
