Daniel, Tigase has 2 (or even more) ways to be installed. An old installer working as a desktop application and a new installer which works from within a web browser. So my questions is with which installer you experienced the problem. Maybe you can provide some screenshots or some more details so we know where to look.

I ran some different versions of installers, and I could not duplicate the problem from fresh installs. I think it may have been a local setting, I will close this.

Default user password in the installer seems to be set as tigase. however, this password is not written or attributed to the user database and configured admins cannot connect.
I think we should change the password field in the installer to prevent users who are looking for a quick install (or who breeze past) from running into errors on install. Either require verification for the password field, or strip the default?
