Current version of API is good to static SQL queries handwritten, but it is lacking type checking. It would be good to be able to query SQL storage using model class and their fields to have good type checking. That will be useful for usage in Siskin/Beagle in the new version as major changes in the database layer are expected (to improve SQL storage performance and conversation log storage).
