Once we implement photo sharing to many users in one go, we have to do it in a smart way. That is the client would send it to the server and store the photo in user's private area.

Then the server should distribute the photo to all recipients. The server will decide whether to delivery the photo as a file or as a link. In any case, photos will be stored on the server and should be accessible by the user from the web service.
