Stopping messenger from application manager and clearing all application data resolved the problem. Fortunately accounts were not cleared up as well so after restart everything was working fine. |

Does not happen any more, so closing this one. If I am able to replicate on a new version I will reopen, |

While chatting on the messenger I was hitting home button and back button quite frequently (I was about to throw the mobile through the window...). Of course this caused the messenger to exit from the chat or even from the messenger. Chatting was almost impossible and highly annoying. Especially that it was important business issue with a new client.
Anyway. At some point I decided to go to horizontal mode so home and back buttons are not close to a keyboard, hoping that I san chat without interruptions. After that the show chats function caused the messenger failure. Now, regardless whether the mobile is in horizontal or vertical mode I can not longer go into the "show chats" screen.
I can start a new chat from the roster, but I cannot open any of recent active chats.
