If the client is unable to decrypt the message (SiskinIM), this usually means that it was not encrypted for this client. Clients are encrypting messages using members list, so missing member in the members list in Dino most likely causes an issue by not encrypting messages for SiskinIM. |

I now noticed that Dino only shows the Siskin user as Member of the private group chat if that user is online. So if the Siskin user is online, Dino recognizes that user as a group member and I can send messages from Dino to that user. As soon as the Siskin user goes offline, Dino doesn't show that user anymore as a member and all messages written from Dino while the Siskin user is offline cannot be decrypted by that user when online again. (I will copy this comment to the issue at Dino's repo too) |

Over at Dino they say that the member list only shows online members but Dino should encrypt for all members and as Dino showed the Siskin user in the member list when online, it should encrypt the messages for that user. Unfortunately, I cannot do much testing, because I don't have permanent access to an iPhone and i don't want to annoy friends too much that own one. But the next time I get the chance to test this, I will see if I can tell more precisely when this happens. |
I created a private group chat in Quicksy, added some people all using Quicksy and one using Siskin and we all can read and write messages from our phones. In Dino I can also read all messages (also the ones from Siskin) but the Siskin user cannot read any messages I write from Dino and Dino does not show that person in the members list.
(As I'm not sure if this is a Siskin issue or a Dino issue I opened an issue over at Dino's repo too)
