In certain cases the cross icon closing chat disappears from the UI, and I have to click on another chat and go back to have the icon again. Steps to replicate:

1. I have a few chats open on From unknown list
2. All chats show the cross icon
3. I click on the cross icon on the top chat
4. All chats on the list move up
5. The current top chat does not have the icon
