It was already reported a couple of times in the past:

But it doesn't work well (now)

In general BeagleIM should handle well copying:

1. if one message is selected, cmd+c should copy only the selected text/message (current Copy text option)
2. if multiple messages are selected, cmd+c should do "Copy messages`, i.e. copy also metadata (message author and timestamp)

Right now It's impossible to select multiple messages and copy them - when we want to select multiple messages that may include scrolling of the content the selection is removed and messages are not copied.
