Out of curiosity I just tried to specify my connection like username@domain:port, but unfortunately this produces an instant crash. Thank you for reporting this issue and the suggestion to add support for using proxies. We will consider that as a feature to add in the future but for now, I cannot provide you with any ETA for this feature. |

At the moment it is not possible to specify a server port or connect to a server via proxy. One of the servers I need to connect to is hidden behind a proxy server, so it'd be nice if beagle IM would make use of the system proxies or allow me to manually specify one.
Also it'd be nice to be able to set the port to connect to.
