Well, the channel is not shown and this is intended - invitation only channels should not be browsable. As for leaving a channel (which you "own") and having other participants still in it is OK. I've created a group but I do not care about it any more. Maybe I should transfer my rights? maybe not? How you rejoined? after you left the channel? I suppose there may be a bug in the BeagleIM as I could not think about this possibility, so duplication of entries is an issue. |

Agreed, but if I'm still member of the channel (i.e. subscribed) there should be possibility to see list of those. Currently "Open/join channel" is tied to how it works in XMPP, however it doesn't exactly match user usage (but more on that later)
I think we have a "hole" in the workflow then. Either we should tie list of chats to the list of subscriptions (we close the chat channel = we leave it altogether) or allow closing the chats, but still being a members and being able to re-open it, something similar to regular chats where you can close the chat item but still re-open it (as the person is in your roster, or it can pop-up on new message). I would say that upon closing the channel we should do what is done for MUC - offer some choices but those would be "cancel" and "leave and transfer ownership". IMHO transferring ownership should be somewhat automatic (next person in member list, ideally ordered by time of joining).
@kobit shared MIX channel ID, I opened "join channel" and pasted it there. |

To be honest, you should not be listed as a participant after you left a channel (closed it) and it was working just fine not so long ago. As for "leaving" I would suggest to ask user to close it and if possible "reassign" ownership. |

So, it's not a but (hence "wontfix") and let's address it in #issue #304 and #issue #305. |
