`cmd + arrow up` as a shortcut to edit last sent message (#278)
Wojciech Kapcia (Tigase) opened 5 years ago

Currently correcting last sent message requires selecting such message and selecting option from the menu. Allowing using cmd+up (which is quite typical) would help speed up corrections.

This feature is available in Edit menu as well. Works only when message input field is empty.

Side note to the "undo" to undo sending that you mentioned: it would be good that in this case a confirmation dialogue would pop-up - I can imagine triggering it quite easily.

The is no such thing as undo sending. You either correct last message with shortcut or you retract a message (only with context menu).

If you trigger last message correction by mistake you press enter and resend it or clean up the field and it should cancel message correction

ah, ok. I misunderstood your remarks in the chant then.

Edited message is not updated in the chat list preview (in the sender chat)

The issue should be fixed in the next build.
