Currently there is no easy way to query for the version of the entity (one has to type the XML manually in the XML console in the end).

Possible ideas:

1. add it to the second line to item in Service discovery view (if it would be done automatically for all items it could cause lots of unneeded chatter)
2. add it as an action to on the item (possibly with displaying vale in new window so it would be easy to copy it) a) could be in context menu (though there is no context menu now) b) as an additional button at the bottom of the window (next to [browse], [execute] and [join]) c) as an item in the [action] button (which would replace current execute and join and contain those as items in the dropdown)
